Coordinate overall health by working to remove barriers to treatment and considering all psychosocial aspects in healthcare plan & management. Serve as social worker in the Children\'s Advocacy Team (CAT) clinic for outpatient assessment and follow up for children who are victims of child abuse and/or neglect. Roles in this clinic include providing supportive counseling to children and involved caregivers and coordinating with investigators which can include Child Protective Services, law enforcement, county attorneys, guardians ad litem, etc.Also provide frequent on call and coverage social work services to all areas of the hospital.
