ABOUT JENNA MANTEL

I am a pre-nursing student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and I am deeply committed to making a positive impact in both healthcare and the community. Currently pursuing my passion for nursing, I am actively involved in various organizations and roles that shape my journey towards becoming a healthcare professional.As a member of the Chi Omega Nu chapter, I embrace the values of sisterhood, leadership, and service, contributing to a supportive community both on and off campus. Additionally, I am an active member of the Aspiring Nurses Association, where I engage in networking opportunities, professional development, and community outreach initiatives that further enrich my understanding of the nursing profession.In my role as a respite care provider for United Cerebral Palsy, I have the privilege of offering personalized support and care to individuals and families facing diverse challenges. Through patience, empathy, and adaptability, I strive to foster independence and enhance the quality of life for those under my care.Outside of my academic and healthcare pursuits, I am a lifeguard and lake specialist at Emma Kaufman Camp, where I am about to spend my third year ensuring the safety and enjoyment of campers in aquatic activities. These experiences have aided my skills in communication, leadership, and crisis management, which I carry forward into all aspects of my life and work.
