About Jenna Kilpatrick

I am a senior at Sacred Heart University in the 3+2 Psychology Pre-Occupational Therapy program, with plans to complete my undergraduate degree in May 2026 and continue into SHU’s Master of Occupational Therapy program. I am also a member of the Thomas More Honors Program and pursuing minors in Health Communication, Health Humanities, and Neuroscience. With a 3.8 GPA and consistent placement on the Dean’s List, I am committed to academic excellence and am extremely excited for a future education in occupational therapy. I have shadowed in both pediatric and adult OT settings, which has broadened my perspective on occupational therapy across the lifespan, and has allowed me to narrow my interests particularly to outpatient rehabilitation within a hospital setting, where I hope to contribute to patient-centered recovery and functional mobility. I am eager to continue gaining clinical experience as I prepare to enter the professional phase of my education and, ultimately, the OT field.

1. Pre-health Peer Mentor

   Sacred Heart University

   Serve as a peer mentor leader for pre-occupational therapy students, as well as students of other pre-health majors. Coordinate meetings and check-ins with mentees and assist in coursework help, stress management, as well as maximizing class schedules. Consistent close communication with mentees, including open office hours, and create a supportive environment for students in all years of undergrad.
