As a senior at the University of Texas at Austin majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Business Administration, I am passionate about storytelling, brand strategy, and the intersection of creativity and commerce. My academic and professional journey spans diverse industries including fashion, retail, talent management, and digital marketing, reflecting how my Public Relations major, Business Administration minor, and varied internships have equipped me with a versatile skill set and the ability to adapt, contribute, and thrive across different areas of the industry.This summer, I worked as an Assistant Buying Intern in Ladies Shoes at Ross Stores, where I gained hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of off-price retail. I developed key skills in trend forecasting, assortment planning, competitive analysis, and inventory management, while deepening my understanding of consumer behavior and data-driven decision making. I also strengthened my vendor relationship management and professional communication skills by working closely with buyers and external partners to support product selections and purchasing decisions. Additionally, I became proficient in Excel-based tools, using functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUPs to analyze sales data, manage purchase orders, and track key performance indicators.Originally from New York, I’ve always been inspired by vibrant cultures and fast-moving environments. Moving to Austin has allowed me to further immerse myself in creativity and entrepreneurship, fueling my drive to create impactful brand experiences.
