About Jenna Fryer

I am a PhD candidate in Food Science and Technology at Oregon State University, with an expected graduation in Spring 2025. I received my bachelor\'s degree in Food Science from The Ohio State University where I discovered my passion for sensory science and human perception. My interests lie in expanding our knowledge of how people perceive the world around them and the \"whys\" of peoples food preferences. I also look to gain a better understanding people through food and food through people. My research currently focuses on the impact of wildfire smoke on wine - specifically their sensory properties.
