ABOUT JENNA FROWEIN

An innovative architectural designer at heart, with the technical training of an engineer and big-picture mindset of a developer, Jenna provides an interdisciplinary connection in an industry too often disjointed. She is particularly passionate about sustainable design, ski resort planning, and the integration of architecture and structural engineering in addressing climate change. Licensed Architect in the State of Hawaii. Jenna has worked as an architectural designer and structural designer on a variety of projects throughout California, Hawaii, Montana, Idaho, and British Columbia, including hospitality, resort, education, athletics, residential, and master planning. Her interdisciplinary background and desire for lifelong learning allows her to excitedly tackle a wide range of projects that balance the goals of clients, users, local communities, and the environment. Growing up in Hawaii, she understands the importance and necessity of creating architecture that maintains people at its heart, while responding to the cultural heritage, unique environmental surroundings, and market needs that anchor a building to its site. She believes that designs should holistically celebrate the connection between people, place, and the environment – both built and natural. Approaching complex problems with an interdisciplinary lens allows Jenna to develop creatively simple solutions and meaningful experiences for communities.
