THE RECORD is a digital text-based archive that documents the creative process, thinking, and continued practices of the artists who participate in Indigo Arts Alliance\'s Artist Residency programs. This archive project was designed to provide a permanent, educational record that connects the systems change work happening at Indigo Arts Alliance. The Record pairs an established Black arts writer with an alumni from the IAA Artist Residency program. It is a repository that looks back to previous local and global artists in residence to contextualize their work and practice since their time in residence at Indigo, creating space for a process of reflection and analysis of their work.+ Monitor, organize, and oversee the development of IAA\'s artist archive, The Record+ Commission writers to produce profiles, reflections, and arts writing (in consideration with artists\' recommendations)+ Write contracts, manage deadlines, and follow up with artists and writers+ Edit articles and provide feedback to writers+ Work with IAA communications team to identity visual assets for website and social mediaWith IAA Co-Founder Marcia Minter, I helped launch The Record in 2020, commissioning essays and editing work with writers until the winter of 2022 when I was fully in the swing of graduate school. I\'m very happy to be back working with the incredible staff, artists, and volunteers at IAA!
