ABOUT JENN WORKMAN
I have been an occupational therapist since 1997 and have worked in multiple settings. Early in my career, pediatric TBI was my passion and specialty. I have also worked in skilled nursing, assisted living, home health, pediatric and adult ICU, inpatient neuro rehab, and inpatient TBI/SCI. I was also a travel OT, working in 5 states and multiple settings.Since 2014, I have been the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator and an instructor in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program here at CFCC.I completed a Post Professional Occupational Therapy Doctorate program at Chatham University in April 2022.Both of my parents lived and died with Alzheimer\'s disease, so I devote my time monthly to volunteering with the Alzheimer\'s Association. I am passionate about educating the caregivers of individuals with dementia to help improve their quality of life.I love being around my people, cooking, traveling, live music, reading, reality TV, and making the best of each day. I am a breast cancer survivor (since 2019), so I view every day as a gift.
