I am a climate adaptation leader with a passion for achieving solutions at scale through good governance, sound science, and expansive collaboration. I work to translate climate science to action, build resilience to the climate impacts and risks California is already experiencing, and enhance and protect natural places. In my current role, I speak, write, advise, coordinate, and shape efforts to integrate and strengthen statewide climate resilience planning alongside strategies to also reach greenhouse gas reduction goals, and work with governments across the world to drive solutions to our shared challenges faster. I similarly drive efforts to scale and promote practices on our lands to store and sequester carbon, reduce emissions, and build the resilience of California’s diverse natural systems.
