About Jenn Morriss
Hi I’m Jenn!I’m a Senior at Pace university NYC working towards a Film and Screen major with a double minor in Arts and Entertainment Management and Criminal Justice. In addition I am a member of Pforzheimer Honors College. I am a dedicated and detail oriented student who has been a long time learner. I enjoy exploring various academic fields subjects beyond the scope of my career path as well, which is reflected in a lot of my elective coursework choices. In terms of my minors (Criminal Justice and Arts and Entertainment Management) they will support my future endeavors nicely. Arts and Entertainment Management directly relates to my interest in live entertainment production and my Criminal Justice knowledge supports the security and logistical aspects of event management. It also aligns with my interests in social justice and reform and gives me a deeper understanding of the issues we face today. This combination helps make me a well rounded student and expand on my goals. Ultimately my interests lie in the intersection of media and the music industry, specifically in live entertainment production and photography, along with experimental and documentary filmmaking. I have been a long time musician, creative, and multi-media appreciator and I am passionate about exploring these avenues in my future work. I hope one day to work on tour with bands and artists around the world. Fun fact! I have seen over 85 artists live so far. I\'m a strong communicator, writer, and problem solver, well trained in google suite and Microsoft office and constantly learning more and adapting these skills to my academic endeavors. I have video editing experience with DaVinci Resolve, editing experience with Adobe Cloud, social media and website promotion skills, as well as various other multimedia and general education related experience and internships. In addition to balancing these disciplines and projects, as a strong multitasker I have an active extracurricular life as well. I enjoy creative writing and photography, am a dedicated member of multiple on-campus clubs, and am the host of a weekly radio show on Pace University\'s campus station WPUB. This show \"The Kids are Alright\" has been a passion project of mine that I intend to carry with me for the rest of my college career. Sharing music and gaining studio experience is something I truly love. I also enjoy giving back to my community through volunteering and educating on social justice issues I see around me everyday.I look forward to connecting and working together in the future.
