In Summary:I am a Certified information Privacy Professional with 22 years experience in Business Development & Pioneering New Markets. In the last 16 years my experience extends to the end to end management of Information Security, Third Party Risk Management, Data Security Posture Management, Data Protection and Compliance. I have worked across both Public and Private Sectors within the UK and EMEA with an extensive network across Cyber Security and Data Privacy Key Stakeholders as well as Channel Partners.Bio:I began my career in Business Development Management, working for a large listed South African Financial Institution that assisted Independent Financial Advisors and Brokers in investing their customers\' money offshore. Given the heavily regulated sector, I was responsible for ensuring adherence to all regulations pertaining to the financial sector, as well as Data Protection regulation. It was here where I developed a passion for Data Protection began. In 2009, I made the transition to Information Management & Data Protection, accepting a position as a Records Management Consultant at Metrofile Group, a leader in fully integrated records and information management in South Africa. In 2011, I immigrated to the United Kingdom and spent the next 8 years working for Iron Mountain as a Business Development Manager, helping organisations across Government implement their Records Management & Data Security Programs.In 2018, a start-up SaaS company approached me to assist in building out a Public Sector Offering due to my knowledge within the sector. In this role, I worked across the UK Public Sector and onboarded 64 new Public Sector organisations during my tenure, helping them improve efficiencies and reduce risk by bridging the gap between GDPR regulation and successful implementation. I am a Certified Information Privacy Professional and have spent time specifically focused on helping organisations implement and automate their Data Security & Third-Party Risk Management programs.Overall, I have22 years experience in Business Development and 16 years\' experience in the end-to-end management of Infosec, DPSM, Third-Party Risk Management, Data Protection, and Compliance, helping Government Organisations across the United Kingdom successfully implement their Data Security & Privacy Programs.
