About Jennifer Martin

I\'m a people leader with a strong background in both product and infrastructure engineering. I have almost 20 years in engineering, leading teams as large 45 engineers and managers, delivering business value while transforming growing teams into successful organizations.My more recent focus has been in the fintech space. I\'ve been a startup founder and worked at large companies, and appreciated the unique challenges of all those environments.My core strengths are building successful teams, growing leaders, and strategic management. I work best in fast-paced, dynamic environments where I lay the foundation for long-term success as an organization grows and evolves. I\'m great at keeping everyone on the same page and motivated during turbulent timesI\'m also very involved in I&D, having been a chair of the Women in Engineering Community at Block for two years, speaking both internally and externally, and also being a driving force in the LGBT community. Creating trust, building inclusive spaces, and psychological safety is key to my leadership.
