ABOUT JENNIFER ANNE LILLEY

Jennifer began her career in the public sector working as a land use planner for the cities of Fullerton and Brea. In 1992 she found her niche in consulting and spent 23 years providing professional land use, environmental and public engagement services to public agencies and non profit organizations. Additionally she provided organizational strategic planning, best practice evaluation, staff and leadership training, organizational assessments, budget and fiscal management planning, service and staff evaluations and audits and economic development planning and implementation. Specifically Jennifer’s work has taken her out of land use planning to include providing services and specialty to: health and human services, animal care and control, public safety, business attraction and retention, business improvement district formation and management, historic preservation, grant preparation and management, census awareness and improvements campaigns, ballot measure campaigns, and transportation master planning. She founded Lilley Planning Group in 2007 and led a team of professional planners, building experts, economic development, CBDG and housing practitioners, community preservation specialists and facilitators to provide outstanding contract services to communities throughout California. Jennifer\'s passion is productive dialogue, whether that is through community outreach, strategic planning, training, visioning, or career coaching. She is creative, innovative and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience gathered from working with more than 50 agencies and organizations across the nation. She has had the honor to work on National efforts including America Speaks - Listening to the City, Rebuilding downtown Manhattan after 9/11, California speaks - health care reform deliberative and Internet for Everyone. Jennifer has won the Outstanding leadership award from the Orange County Section of APA.
