Currently leading engineering at QiMana, where I built a small team from startup inception and delivered our AI platform from concept to first users within months. I focus on establishing engineering culture, mentoring first-time professionals, and translating founder vision into actionable roadmaps that drive business results.My path to engineering leadership started as a founding engineer at Balance Homes, where I designed the technical foundation for foreclosure prevention software and was promoted to Engineering Manager following acquisition. There I led infrastructure optimization that cut operational costs by $50k+ monthly while scaling the team and establishing cross-functional processes with product and operations.I enjoy taking technical ideas from zero to one while building the teams and processes that scale them. I\'ve spent 8+ years in startup environments where wearing multiple hats is the norm from writing Python backends to implementing scrum practices to collaborating directly with design and business stakeholders.I have done full-stack development across Python, JavaScript, C#, AWS, and modern frameworks. But more importantly, I know how to architect systems that enable teams to move fast without breaking things (or at least as little as possible).I also run Mesongo Technologies, my consulting practice where I\'ve served as fractional CTO for healthcare and legal clients, ensuring compliance and building technical strategies that support business growth.I am drawn to senior engineering management opportunities where I can build high-performing teams, establish engineering practices, and drive technical decisions that create real business impact.
