As head of creative direction and development, I lead all phases of project incubation—from script to screen—and build high-impact teams aligned with vision, values, and execution. Highlights:• Led creative development across a diverse slate of projects, overseeing script ideation, budget planning, talent attachments, and strategic alignment with top-tier partners (including studio execs, agents, producers, and financiers).• Secured partial financing for the $7.5M international co-production Köln 75 (Germany/Belgium/Poland, OneTwo Films), bringing together transatlantic teams and vision.• Won the top grant from the Montana Film Commission for original feature Diamondback, outperforming over 300 submissions—receiving $100K in development funding.• Developed 4 feature films and 1 TV series, shepherding each from idea to active development with collaborators such as Gurinder Chadha, Kiki Layne, Common, Meshell Ndegeocello, and Annabelle Wallis.• Launched “Rock Your Pitch”, a workshop series that empowered over 125 emerging female filmmakers to craft and deliver industry-level pitches, building community and confidence in the process.I wear many hats here: story whisperer, pitch coach, strategic wrangler, and fearless team-builder.
