ABOUT JEN L.

Hi, I’m Jen, a people-first operator who finds meaning at the intersection of purpose, community, and execution. With nearly a decade of experience across startup operations, business strategy, people ops, and community engagement, I’ve built a career around supporting mission-driven teams and creating systems that help others thrive.Currently, I serve as CSO at Purple Door Finders, where I lead strategic initiatives that help make senior living housing and care more transparent and accessible for families navigating tough transitions. In 2024, alongside a group of passionate and invested parents, we co-founded the Korean Language and Cultural Center of Sacramento (KLCCSac), a nonprofit dedicated to preserving and promoting the Korean language and culture in our region. It’s a passion project inspired by my roots and the desire to create inclusive spaces where culture and community thrive.A Few Highlights: Finalist for NAWBO Sacramento’s \"Women on the Way\" Award (2025) CalAsian Foundation Catalyst Leadership Program (2024) Folsom’s Young Professional of the Year (2022) Folsom Chamber Leadership Program Graduate (2019) – Culminated in building a garden gazebo for the Twin Lakes Food BankWhat Drives Me:I\'m especially passionate about creating pathways for single parents, seniors, and underrepresented communities. As a proud Sac State alum and mom of 2, I hope to continue using my experience to build people-centered solutions that uplift and empower.I’m always excited to collaborate, learn, and connect with others who share a passion for leadership, community, and making an impact.
