About Jeni Jenkins

With a background in social science research, art, and design, I am a versatile art director who specializes in creating projects that drive social and economic change. Throughout my career in non-profit and academic settings, I have honed a diverse skill set that allows me to design, manage, and evaluate programs and community projects with precision and creativity. With over twenty years of experience in visual communication design, I have developed a robust portfolio that includes a wide range of mediums such as vector graphics, digital illustrations, print and digital publications, animations, photography, and web design. In addition to my professional work, my work explores the intersections of printmaking, Feminism, storytelling, social practice, and critical pedagogy, with a focus on amplifying the narratives of BIPOC individuals, particularly women. My personal art practice encompasses political poster art, mural painting, portrait photography, illustration, collage, and printmaking. I use art as a tool to protest injustice, challenge perspectives, and promote empathy and understanding. I firmly believe that individual actions within social movements can lead to significant collective impact.
