I am an experienced leader and advanced practice nurse, who works with interdisciplinary professional and supports teams in health care.I have broad experiences across diverse settingsincluding long-term care, acute care, critical care, ambulatory care, transitional care and community care.I have been recognized provincially and nationally for my work in advancing nursing practice and patient-centered care. In 2017, I was selected as one of 150 Nurses for Canada, an award given to nurse innovators, leaders, and advocatesin advancing patient-centred care during Canada’s 150th year. In 2018, I have received the Excellence in NursingInnovation Award from the Nurses and Nurse Practitioners of B.C.(NNPBC).In 2024, I have received the Recognition Award during National Nursing Week from the Nurses and Nurse Practitioners of B.C.(NNPBC).My years of clinical, operational and practice leadership have strengthened my relational approaches, strategic thinking and application of systematic frameworks in the delivery of innovative people-centered initiatives while upholding diverse, equitable, inclusive, and culturally safe care.
