ABOUT JENIFER FUNK

After teaching middle/high school band in Wisconsin for 11 years, I decided to transform my life and moved to Sarasota in 2001 to attend Sarasota School of Massage Therapy. In 2007 I started flipping residential real estate/properties in the Sarasota/Bradenton areas and in 2012 I became a licensed Realtor® in both Florida and Massachusetts. I love when people are able to achieve their goal of selling their current home and/or purchasing a new home and am truly appreciative of the opportunity to be part of making that happen!Prior to being in Real Estate, I was a Licensed Massage Therapist in Florida and Wisconsin since 2002, had my own successful massage therapy practice at a fitness center for many years, was an admissions representative, finance director, and operations director from 20••••10 at Sarasota School of Massage Therapy, and taught Practice Management/Professional Development, Ethics, Florida Massage Laws and Rules, HIV/Aids Education, First Aid, and Onsite (Chair) Massage at both Sarasota School of Massage Therapy and Florida College of Natural Health. In 2009, I opened Abundant Life Massage Education, Inc. in downtown Sarasota, FL with my business partner, Katie Jones, specializing in massage therapy continuing education, teaching canine massage to the general public, as well as provide massage therapy to people and dogs. I still teach 15, 100, and 200-hours courses in Canine Massage and am affiliated with a number of local dog rescues and breed clubs, having rescued and/or fostered 40+ dogs!Massage Therapy Specialties: Oncology Massage, Canine Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Bamboo-Fusion, Raindrop Technique, Massage Therapy Education
