ABOUT JENIFER DUA

I’m an International Relations student at the University of British Columbia focused on the real-world impact of policy, how political and economic decisions shape communities, opportunity, and justice. My motivation is personal: growing up, I saw my father’s long-term commitment to community service through his work founding the Christian United Federation. That experience made me believe in grassroots leadership, and in the importance of systems-level change that lasts.I’ve built skills in public speaking, diplomacy, and collaboration through volunteering and Harvard Model United Nations, and I’m especially interested in the intersection of global politics, human rights, and sustainable development.I’m at my best in roles that combine coordination + people work: running projects, supporting stakeholder relationships, and helping teams stay organized and aligned. I’m currently exploring internships/co-ops in policy/public affairs, community engagement, program/project coordination, and communications.Always happy to connect with people working in these spaces.
