Though the pandemic shut schools down, Operation Aware moved forward and served students. Leading our team through the unchartered waters we created over 40 virtual lessons with our small staff of 7, Each team member contributed their talents and learned new skills as we produced virtual content. I am proud to say that we now have 4 new programs implemented since COVID 19.Key Accomplishments through the years:*Planned, produced and launched Virtual curriculum with over 40 completed lessons to give broader access to the messages of Operation Aware.*Redefined workspace to save one $20k during Global pandemic and improve productivity*Restructured the organization saving over dollars the first two years. Maintained steady income through fundraising and program service fees. Each year continuing to come in under budget while creating new programs.*Steadily increasing the number of students served each year.*Built a healthy work environment with a strong cohesive team that is skilled, collaborative and productive.*Increased public and community support placing nonprofit in better financial standing.*Diversified funding sources.*Established a new fundraiser that continues to increase the net profit each year for six years.*Increased community outreaches through partnerships beyond the Tulsa community.*Improved internal and external communications*Restructured staffing and operational needs to better serve clients, streamline job functions and reduce expenditures.*Relieved Board of Directors from time intensive, day-to-day operational management and redirected their efforts towards governance and fund development.
