My father\'s side of the family have owned the land around the largest sea arch in Ireland, the Arch of Pollet for 200+ years?(. Question mark because there weren\'t leases way back when in Donegal.) In 2017, a rather passionate relative of ours started to chase tourists off with a gun (as tourists regularly walked on our land to get to the famous arch). After a lot of back and forth, and a newly signed lease with the City of Donegal, the arch\'s access has been restored. I advised that the land had to be carefully partitioned because it is used for farming. It had to not only logically make sense in terms of parking and access to the arch for tourists, but couldn\'t cut into the profits of the farm. I also worked with a member of Irish Parliament to ensure a fair negotiation (coincidentally we became friends the birthday before in Catalina), and even assisted the local media in providing direct statements from the family.Read more:
