Welcome! I\'m a first-generation college student and communicator shaped by a multicultural upbringing and a deep love for stories that make people feel seen. Growing up Mexican, Filipino, and Irish, I was raised in a blend of cultures that taught me to navigate different worlds, listen with intention, and appreciate the power of representation. I began my journey at Santa Monica College, earning my Associate Degree in Communication. I am now pursuing my Bachelor’s in Media Industries & Communication with a Marketing minor at UC San Diego.My path has always been rooted in storytelling. As a freelance makeup artist for 8+ years, I learned early on that beauty isn’t just aesthetic – it’s emotional. I’ve worked on film sets, editorial shoots, and creative projects where I collaborated with actors, directors, and creative teams to bring characters, moods, and identities to life. Every look became its own form of communication: a narrative shaped through color, texture, and intention.As I grew, so did my passion for understanding how media shapes meaning. At UCSD, I’ve explored the intersections of culture, identity, and representation – diving into how stories are produced, circulated, and consumed across platforms. My Marketing minor strengthens this work, giving me both strategic insight and creative range to understand audiences, and reach them in ways that feel authentic and intentional.Being raised in a first-generation household has also shaped my commitment to inclusive storytelling. It taught me the importance of visibility, cultural nuance, and creating space for narratives that often get overlooked. This foundation motivates me to contribute to industries where diverse voices aren’t just included, they’re valued.Looking ahead, I’m excited to build a career in beauty, entertainment, or digital marketing where I can blend creativity, communication, and cultural awareness. Whether I’m crafting a campaign, producing content, or collaborating on a project, my goal is simple: to create work that connects, empowers, and reflects real experiences.The story is still being written – and I’m just getting started!
