I help make our store a place people love to shop, work, and follow online. Social Media & Content Creation- Built and now manage our entire online presence—planning, filming, editing, and posting every piece of content- Create fun, on-trend Reels and TikToks that show off our team, store, and top deals with a local, humorous twist- Developed engaging video series like “Here’s How” to feature DIY tips and seasonal products- Write captions that entertain and sell (often both at once), plus handle all community engagement- Created a full content calendar with an ongoing bank of ideas to keep things consistent and fresh- Launched giveaways, seasonal campaigns, and trend-inspired content to drive traffic and engagementIn-Store Marketing & Visual Merchandising- Design and update all store signage—everything from sale tags to large display features- Rework high-traffic areas like feature ends to align with current sales, seasons, and shopping trends- Focus on impulse buys and product visibility with displays that catch attention and convert- Constantly evaluate what works (and doesn’t) to improve performance and customer flow- Support customer service on the floor, keeping my finger on the pulse of what people needHR & Recruitment Support- Designed our full hiring and onboarding process, including interview questions and candidate packages- Draft internal documents like job offers, policy updates, and performance letters- Keep all policy binders up to date and legally sound, including implementing several new policies myself- Advertise roles in-store and online in ways that match our brand and attract culture-fit applicants Bottom line? I help our store connect with real people—from Instagram to aisle four.
