ABOUT JEN ELDER
Senior advisor on housing, services, and behavioral health with over 17 years of experience in policy development and implementation in the homelessness sector. I have been supporting national initiatives for SAMHSA, HUD, VA, and the Department of Labor for over 13 years. Currently serving as the Director of SAMHSA\'s Homeless and Housing Resource Center, Director of the PATH Data Exchange, and Senior Advisor to the SAMHSA SOAR TA Center. I am the Immediate Past Chair and a previous Policy Chair of the American Public Health Association’s Caucus on Homelessness. I provided direct services as a street outreach worker and shelter care coordinator in Nashville, TN, and London, England, where I developed a strong passion for harm reduction and low-barrier housing.
