As a seasoned technician on a BMC Jack up Rig, I have honed my skills in maintaining and troubleshooting a diverse array of electronic control systems essential for rig operations. My responsibilities encompass mentoring, developing, and training crew members to ensure their readiness for higher job roles. I troubleshoot and repair PLCs, servers, networks, and various critical systems including Ross Hill SCR, and 3516B Engine Generator Controls. I meticulously maintain Caterpillar Engines, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment, alongside communications systems and well control equipment, BMC Jacking System, Fire and Gas monitoring, Navigation aids, Aircraft Beacon, weather stations, satellite communications, Intercom, GA/PA, TDS 5H, DNS 650 Crane, and BMC 900 Crane. My role requires not only technical proficiency but also leadership in guiding crew members to enhance their competencies. By ensuring the seamless operation and upkeep of these systems, I contribute to the rig\'s efficiency and safety standards, crucial for offshore operations. Accomplishments: Held dual roles as a Barge Engineer and RMS at various points. Installed & Designed TDS Controls. Trained crew members on the STAR IPS system.
