Jen spearheaded the creation of this 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization aimed at promoting leadership and cultivating professional growth among women in the email space at all stages of their digital marketing career. With more than members in 66 countries and counting, WoE has pushed the industry forward in many ways. This includes advocacy for gender parity among speakers at email industry events, initiating the conversation about DEI in email marketing, normalizing compensation transparency for email jobs, and connecting hundreds of women with opportunities to speak and/or attend conferences which may otherwise be out of reach. According to annual surveys by Litmus, the wage gap in email has shrunk more than six percentage points since WoE was founded in 2016, but has not been eliminated as women continue to struggle to advance to higher-paying leadership roles. WoE is best known for our enthusiastic and supportive Facebook community. We welcome cis and trans women, along with genderqueer and non-binary people.As president and co-founder, Jen leads the WoE speakers bureau, scholarship program, and wears many hats relating to day-to-day operations, industry relations and partnerships, and organization communications.
