Creates and distributes all internal and external communications through various channels. Editor of the South Carolina Media Directory, the Public Official\'s Guide to Compliance with the S.C. Freedom of Information Act and the weekly SCPA eBulletin newsletter. Manages websites, blogs, social media accounts and e-marketing. Writes press releases and surveys members on key issues. Serves as graphic designer for all print and Web materials including promotional brochures, media kits, client ads and house ads. Plans all in-person and Web-based training events. Coordinates annual contests. Responsible for planning and marketing large conventions. Researches, audits and reports on annual newspaper circulation figures. Monitors federal and state legislative issues. Drives fundraising for the SCPA Foundation and oversees the internship and scholarship program. Handles all correspondence and delivers public presentations on the importance of newspaper media.
