ABOUT JENNIFER-AMY MURPHY
I help organizations and communities rethink how we learn, lead, and prepare for the future using design, foresight, and systems thinking to turn complex challenges into meaningful, lasting solutions. As Director of National Program Initiatives at Shad Canada, I work with cross-functional teams to design, test, and scale national programs that prepare high school students to take on complex real-world challenges. These include areas like artificial intelligence, energy, and food security, while helping students build the mindset, confidence, and leadership skills to shape the future. I hold a Master of Design in Strategic Foresight and Innovation from OCAD University, where I explored how Ontario’s public universities can become more resilient, inclusive, and future-ready. That research continues to shape how I approach strategy, learning, and systems transformation. I also serve on the Waterloo Public Library Board, contributing to initiatives that expand access and strengthen public services. If you\'re working to reimagine education, strengthen public institutions, or apply systems thinking to large-scale change, I’d love to connect.
