About Jena Forlemu
I am a junior at Brown University concentrating in Computer Science & Africana Studies. As a first-generation Cameroonian-American, I am passionate about civic engagement and mentorship. I strive to mentor those from a similar background as me to know they are capable of entering and thriving in spaces that may not have been designed for them. My leadership experience in Black in Business at Brown has allowed me to consolidate my interest in mentorship, growth, engagement, and analytics. In the future, I plan to leverage my analytical background and love for Africa and its diaspora to work in emerging markets or work directly with clients from minority backgrounds to make genuine, positive social change. I hope to work towards this goal by being an asset to consulting, management, or analytics teams where I can learn and grow.
