I lead an amazing team of globally-distributed Staff/Senior Machine Learning Scientists, Research Engineers, Analytics Engineers, Data Engineers, Visualization Engineers, and Managers. We use data to uplevel the operations behind production of Netflix content around the world so we can deliver the best possible experience to our Creators and the best possible content to our Members. If this sparks your interest, please reach out! Prior to Netflix, I led the data engineering team at a startup and worked in consulting. As a consultant my focus was primarily on international corporate investigations, which involved lots of coordination and lots of data wrangling. I care deeply about encouraging women in tech and am an active speaker at events and conferences. I served on the board of B-STEM Project (B for “business”), a non-profit organization that provides educational workshops for girls to learn new skills and explore applications of technology in entertainment, advertising, life sciences, and more.
