intandem is a boutique accounting firm specializing in fractional accounting and financial services for venture-backed startups. Steady state is not what we do: We focus on growth-bound startups from seed stage to exit, and offer highly customized services based on client need. We built intandem to navigate founders through the wild ride of a startup by providing strategic financial leadership and management, with the track record to prove it. Startups are continuously iterating and making changes; We make sure the accounting not only keeps up, but provides a competitive advantage by equipping founders with strategic financial leadership.I discovered my passion for startups while obtaining my joint JD/MBA at California Western School of Law and San Diego State University. I have over 15 years of demonstrated experience in helping startups succeed, both in-house and fractionally. Prior to devoting my attention solely to startups, I worked in corporate accounting and finance for CBS Radio and Viacom.

Provides strategic financial guidance aimed at increasing profitability, improving ability to scale, and decreasing burn rate. Creates financial models for use in cash flow forecasting and scenario modeling, prepares investor decks and monthly board packages, reviews monthly financial statements for proper revenue and expense recognition, helps clients choose and implement employee stock option plans, benefit plans and proper insurance coverage, liaises with attorneys, auditors and tax specialists on corporate structure, due diligence and tax planning, and more.
