My story is one of constant evolution. BACKGROUND: My career began in the social work space. For nearly 10 years, I was focused on facilitating emotional and physical well-being among children and young adults through one-on-one and group therapy efforts. After undergoing my own weight loss journey, I understood the complexities behind a successful personal transformation and decided to focus my career on holistic health and wellness. The first stop on my professional journey into the health and wellness space was at Wellspring Weight Loss Camp as a Behavioral Coach before settling into a successful tenure with Retrofit (Livongo Health, now Teladoc). HEALTH & WELLNESS EXPERTISE: Throughout my time in the holistic health space with Retrofit as well as through personal involvement in fitness, life coaching, and other areas, I have expanded my skill set to include the following: Behavior Coaching – I have played a critical role in empowering over clients to take charge of their mental and physical health. My clients have regained control over chronic health issues, lost weight that was holding them down, and gained tools to live a happy and healthy life. Program Management – I have been a key player behind designing, developing, and deploying successful health management programs. Creating program curriculum, researching health innovations, and aiding in product development are all critical components of new programs that I have been part of. Business Development – Marketing, advertising, and sales are exciting areas that I have grown to love. Over the years, I have played a vital role in getting the word out about holistic health through educational marketing efforts at Retrofit, serving as a brand ambassador and Lululemon educator as well as publishing articles and blog posts in coordination with NBC, mindbodygreen, and my own blog on thejenrose.com WHAT SETS ME APART: I have a unique combination of experience with my tenure in the digital health management space at Retrofit/Livongo, my clinical background as a Social Worker, and personal health journey. My approach helps people deal with what\'s in their head and heart to bridge the gap between knowing and doing. This mixture of experience allows me to be an integral business leader capable of flexing between aiding clients in their wellness journey, contributing toward program development, and serving as a brand representative, and more.    I started off in this space with the digital health management startup Retrofit just a short while after the company launched in 2011. As one of the original team members, I had the amazing opportunity to be involved in just about everything from individual behavior coaching to educational marketing efforts that furthered the brand and the development of innovative products and programs. In 2018, Retrofit was gaining so much traction in the industry that we were acquired by Livongo Health and now Teladoc in 2020 and have been able to scale our efforts and reach more people in need than ever before. With both Retrofit and Livongo, I have been able to accomplish and experience a great deal. Some of the highlights include: Piloting Retrofit’s first-ever onsite weight loss coaching program at PSEG (I even moved to New Jersey for the contract). With this, I had end-to-end involvement in collaborative program design with client executives, spurring employee engagement, overseeing associated marketing campaigns, attending 200+ health events, and more. The program was wildly successful and resulted in 48% enrollment rates. Serving as a key driver behind development, rollout, and active coaching associated with 4 health management products including: Retrofit Weight Management, Retrofit Diabetes Prevention Program, Livongo Weight Management, and Livongo Diabetes Response Program. Rising in the ranks to become known as one of the top coaches company-wide assigned to high-profile clients and corporate contracts with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Google, Zappos, Walgreens, Salesforce, and others. Being recognized at Retrofit with the “Bunsen Burner” award for being the coach to have the most innovative ideas that ignite change and the inaugural “Transformer Award” for being the top employee of the month to inspire behavioral transformation.
