With over 12 years of experience in growing for-profit and non-profit companies, I am a social enterprise leader with a passion for creative reuse, education, and community development. I have a proven track record of developing and executing effective business strategies to achieve organizational goals, increase market share, and launch new products. In my most recent role as Artisan Business Development Director at Clever Octopus Creative Reuse, I was part of a team that created an employment-based social enterprise for people with barriers to employment, where they could gain meaningful work and valuable skills in making products from reclaimed materials. I also used my skills in data analysis, market research, business intelligence, and marketing to optimize the revenue and impact of the enterprise. Additionally, I am a workshop facilitator, writer, and social media marketer, with multiple publications and honors in the arts and sustainability fields.
