ABOUT JEN LEWIS
I’m a UX Researcher – but not your typical one! I specialise in Remote Unmoderated Usability testing. This is particularly good for two things; 1. Getting insights quickly (I am often referred to as a ‘Rapid researcher’) 2. Testing large, representative samples of participants (giving stakeholders more confidence in the insights) Originally an academic researcher (my PhD used eye- tracking to explore visual attention during face processing) I have transferred my skills to the world of UX. I spent my first 5 and a half years in the fast-paced agency environment of UserZoom, before moving client-side to Comparethemarket.com 2 years ago. From these experiences I have developed the ability to quickly translate research questions into remote studies that can be built, recruited for and analysed within a matter of days. My particular areas of expertise include; • Competitor benchmarking • Navigation tasks • Unmoderated walkthroughs • Prototype testing • Tree testing • Card sorting • Click testing • True Intent I am also an expert user of Excel, creating bespoke calculators when analysis needs to go beyond the capabilities of a usability platform (e.g. targeted URL analysis) or simply to automate lengthy calculations (to drive efficiency).
