Hi! I’m Jems Patel a problem-solver at heart and a tech enthusiast by trade, working as a DevOps Engineer and Software Developer with 2+ years of experience crafting scalable, cloud-native solutions that make a real impact. I’m currently pursuing my Master of Applied Computer Science at Dalhousie University, where I continue to sharpen my skills in software engineering and cloud technologies. At present, I’m working as a DevOps Engineer Co-op at Sun Life, focusing on CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, and secure cloud deployments. Previously, I worked at KyszTech as a Software Developer, developing backend systems using Java and Spring Boot. I have hands-on experience with a wide range of tools and technologies, including Java, Spring Boot, AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform (IaC), DevSecOps practices, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, ReactJS, and TypeScript.
