ABOUT JEMMA LOHR MCPHERSON

My work focuses on advising sponsors, shareholders, companies and lenders in connection with a wide variety of capital markets and leveraged finance transactions, including high yield debt offerings and syndicated and private credit lending across the capital structure, as well as liability management transactions, restructurings and initial public offerings. I work with companies and banks across Europe and the United Kingdom, as well as the U.S.I have done deals in the automotive, energy, financial products, high-tech, pharmaceuticals, waste/recycling and consumer/retail sectors, among others. I also have experience with green bonds, complex LBO exits, equity capital raising, general corporate matters, liability management, compliance and bank finance. I enjoy building lasting relationships with clients and learning more about their businesses and their goals for the future.I started my legal career as a summer law clerk and then associate on the capital markets team at Clifford Chance in New York in 2012. In 2014, I joined the Latham & Watkins team in New York before moving to Paris in 2015. In 2022, I joined the team at Weil as a counsel and, in 2023, that team joined Paul Hastings. In 2025, I was seconded to Goldman Sachs in London.
