ABOUT JEM WHITE
I offer Solution Focused Hypnotherapy - a mixture of psychotherapy and deep relaxation to both adults and children from Nice Touch Treatment Rooms in Bangor as well as online. Along with one to one sessions I also offer corporate group work. Although I work with a range of issues I specialise in two area’s, helping clients live there best unexpected life ( be that through a breakup, grief, illness). Helping teenagers with self-esteem and confidence issues.Along with my private practice I am also one of the lecturers of the new CPHT Dublin Hypnotherapy school.Although Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is relatively new to Northern Ireland the Solution focused approach to problems by using Psychotherapy along with Hypnosis and including elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) resonated with me. I studied at the Clifton Practice Belfast, which is considered the Gold Standard in Hypnotherapy Training. For this qualification I completed 150 hours of case studies, 120 hours of classroom study and required reading over a period of 10 months. I am now studying for my Advanced Hypnotherapy Practitioners Diploma which is currently the highest level awarded in Hypnotherapy. The greatest part of my job is seeing my clients move forward to become their real selves, no longer being inhibited by the issue that brought them to therapy.
