I’m a veteran designer that has been fortunate enough to experience many different facets of game development in my career. Large corporations that need to have the yearly product on the shelf, small startups that are scraping to get money to keep the doors open, and medium sized teams that provide solid returns for publishers to keep the contracts flowing. Transitioning to remote development, I learned and worked through the challenges associated with leading a team offsite.Much of my career I was the lone designer juggling multiple simultaneous internal projects, working with offsite teams, creating and pitching submissions for publishers, and interacting with outsourced vendors. Lead teams, track milestones, manage game content, and mitigate risk.The most important aspect is working directly with not just every discipline, but every individual, to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the team to ensure the best chance for success. A high-level perspective allows flexibility to dive into areas of concern.I have a proven track record across multiple hardware configurations. 500+ million in gross console sales handling high profile IP,#1 and #3 positions on the sales charts in mobile, and VR application being used on the front lines of the Russo-Ukrainian war and within US government agencies.
