I am a scientist by training and a project manager and informal educator by practice. I love being able to make a societal impact by inspiring the next generation of young leaders in science. Some of my professional curiosities and interests include building community in a meaningful way, implementing science engagement efforts through thoughtful program design, and communicating science through storytelling. I have experience organizing science outreach events, managing volunteers, and fostering the growth of a global non-profit organization. I enjoy working with passionate volunteers and stakeholders of shared interests and developing helpful processes and resources that enable them to feel informed and empowered.
