As a co-founder of the GOOD WORK Society\'s, non-profit GOOD HEALTH Task Force, I manage the day-to-day operations of our Open Source Medical Supply response initiative making PPE for healthcare providers, essential workers, and businesses requiring direct contact with the general public. Founded as a response to the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic and the collapse of the PPE supply-chain, we have rapidly mobilized community volunteers to procure, produce and assembly medical face shields and deliver tens-of-thousands of units of PPE to healthcare providers and front-line workers across Virginia and over 30 States across the country. This has been accomplished by organizing passionate Makers, Medical Professionals, Community Leaders and Volunteers who came together to help fight the pandemic in any way they could. I lead the effort to develop our community, coordinate with State and local healthcare groups, develop innovative rapid production solutions, and build a sustainable production model that allows us to operate responsibly and efficiently. In addition to managing our OSMS efforts, I have developed our innovation program to be an environment for creative incubation, STEM learning, and multi-disciplinary business development. While we strive to help bring an end to COVID-19, we also take pride in Making GOOD Work Society a place where hope can flourish and novel ideas for a better tomorrow can take root and blossom. I\'m so proud of the work we\'ve done in 2020 to be part of the hope for a healthier future and look forward to how we will continue to set a new standard for building businesses based on collective passions and Good Work.
