About Jenelle E. Chuisa
I represent individuals and companies in international and domestic business, insurance coverage, bad faith, and aviation disputes. With more than two decades of experience, my practice spans business contracts, business torts, fraud, and cross-border disputes, including enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitration awards. I advocate for insurers in matters ranging from complex coverage disputes and first-party commercial property claims to bad faith issues arising from aviation, commercial general liability, property, professional liability, marine, and construction-related policies. I have served as an arbitrator in nearly 50 arbitrations through the American Arbitration Association and Florida courts, with no awards vacated.I am deeply committed to advancing access to justice. As Co-Chair of Hinshaw\'s Pro Bono and Community Involvement Committee (Ft. Lauderdale) and a Director of Legal Aid Service of Broward County, I facilitate volunteer opportunities and programs supporting underserved communities. I am honored to have received the Florida Bar President\'s Pro Bono Service Award for the 17th Judicial Circuit, the 2024 Russell E. Carlisle Advocacy Award, the Daily Business Review 2025 Florida Legal Award for ESG Impact, and the John Edward Smith Pro Bono Award for Child Advocacy.
