ABOUT JEFF H.
I am a 7th generation Irish settler living on the traditional and unceded territory of Kanien’kehá:ka Nation. I have over 15 years of experience in the environmental and technology sectors, with a Master\'s degree in Environmental Assessment and another in International Peace Studies. My core competencies include counter-mapping, data governance, data management, and community engagement. I work with Indigenous Nations and organizations to develop and implement data sovereignty projects, programs, and policies that enable them to control and benefit from their own data. I am passionate about using my skills and knowledge to collaborate with Indigenous Nations to assert their inherent rights and interests, and to leverage data as a strategic asset for social, economic, and environmental outcomes.
