About Jeff Richey

With over 32 years of experience in healthcare, my expertise lies in delivering measurable improvements in patient care, quality, revenue, and organizational effectiveness. As an RN who “grew up” in a hospital—progressing from an ER Nurse, Flight Nurse to a Associate Administrator and Executive Leader with responsibility for over a dozen departments and 1600+ employees—I truly understand what it takes to move healthcare organizations to the next level. I consider myself a transformational and collaborative leader, and I am dedicated to building engaged teams that share my passion for exploring new and innovative ways to deliver healthcare. Due to my clinical background, I am able to work in dyads with physician leadership to accomplish shared goals and continuously improve on our processes. Currently, I serve as the Chief Air Medical Officer at Airlift Northwest and Associate Administrator for Laboratory Medicine, Pathology, and Operators, for Harborview Medical Center a 413 bed academic medical center and the only level one trauma and burn center in the WAMI region. I serve on the board for the Association Air Medical Services, Medic One Foundation, Chair for the federal advisory committee on Air Ambulance Quality and Patient Safety and as the chair of the Northwest Air Ambulance Response group. I consider myself the “grease” of the organization as I work every day to put the tools and processes in place to enable my teams to do their jobs and deliver the highest quality of care to our patients and their families. AREAS OF EXPERTISE: Executive Leadership, Organizational Transformation, Hospital Operations Management, Strategic Planning, Large Project Management, New Technology Implementation, Physician Collaboration and Integration, Process Improvements, Customer Service, Emergency and Critical Care Medicine, Air and Ground Medical Transport, Health System Integration, Fiscal Management, Employee Engagement, Leadership Development, CEO, COO, Executive Director
