I first started learning how to program when I was 10, starting with Ruby and Java.In Middle School- I was a founding member of the award winning HaleStorm FTC robotics team, a middle school team that competed in a high school robotics league. I worked both on the hardware and software teams, ultimately leading the software side as we went to the MA State Championship multiple times over the following three years.In High School- I have been developing mobile apps since I was a sophomore, primarily in React-Native with Node.js AWS Lambda backends- I received the Bose Award of Excellence for using technology to solve problems in the community like my mobile app OneDay which was used over times over the 4 years it was used at NRHS.In College- In my Freshman year, I built an app prototype like Airbnb for parking, winning 2nd place at the http://founders.illinois.edu/fiftyfour/ startup competition- That summer, I interned at Cognition which develops risk and requirements management software for medical device and pharmaceutical companies- My sophomore summer, I interned at 128 Technology which was a Series E startup building session smart routers, acquired by Juniper Networks shortly after- In my Junior year, we won 2nd place at HackIllinois 2020 with a matching service that parsed resumes and used an ML model we trained to send students weekly emails of professional events they\'d be most interested in on campus- That summer I interned at Amazon on the KPO team building a global microservice for worker allocation at robotic fulfillment centers- In my Senior year, we won 1st place at HackIllinois 2021 with an open source real time collaborative Jupyter cloud editor- I led the Caesar IoT Research Group, managing the 30+ student researchers as we built and delivered a tool allowing users to design and code circuits with components like WNI\'s and GPS in their browser and simulate them in a VR 3D world- I was the Tech Chair of the Kappa chapter of Theta Tau for 2 years, where I developed a mobile and web application to manage all the fraternity\'s announcements, events, attendance, and pledge voting- I graduated in 2021 with High Honors and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.After Graduation- I moved to Seattle and rejoined the KPO team full time at Amazon for the past 4 years having worked on a dozen Tier 1 services and spent the last 2 years co-leading the development of a new math optimization based pick planning algorithm currently at nearly 100 FCs in North America and Europe

   The recipient of the Amazon Fulfillment Technologies Master of Delivery Award in the Q4 2024 Outbound & Flow All Teams Meeting for my work on a next generation math optimization model (Xpress and Hexaly) based planning algorithm- Working on the Amazon Robotic Picking Optimization (ARPO, formerly Kiva Picking Optimization) team within the Amazon Fulfillment Tech (AFT) org which is the outbound team that handles work assignment for the retrieval of inventory from the hundreds of Amazon Robotics Fulfillment Centers around the world- We design, build, and manage the systems that plan and execute the picking process by assigning inventory to be brought to pick stations on the hundreds of thousands of Kiva drives across nearly 300 Fulfillment Centers world wide
