As Founder and Chairman of HOPE International, I’ve been blessed to both witness and participate in the extraordinary life and growth of the organization. At Hope we seek to alleviate and ultimately eradicate extreme poverty around the globe while preserving the individual dignity of each of our clients. I founded HOPE after discovering firsthand the potentially harmful effects that traditional charity poses to sustainable and lasting development. I have since had the joy of using microenterprise development as a tool to alter the cycle of poverty by supplying the capital and training that is essential to establishing or growing a small business. These businesses are in turn able provide enduring, dignified and independent change to those we wish to help. HOPE now operates in 16 countries, has served over clients, and has issued more than 1.5 million loans. We are tremendously excited by all those who we have been able to help and by those we will help in the future.
