I\'m an experienced software engineering leader.My technical focus within the Developer Division at Microsoft has been making Microsoft\'s engineering system perform efficiently and securely, specifically, managing the Microsoft Open Source enterprise on GitHub where Microsoft teams publish source code, tools, SDKs, and more. As the principal engineer for the Microsoft Open Source Management Portal, I build the single pane of glass everyone uses to open source scenarios and GitHub management, innovating how to scale GitHub to the enterprise and build an experience that engineers use regularly.My career has focused on the full stack: from server-side development on the ASP.NET team, to years as a dev manager in Microsoft Azure building our SDKs for Node.js, Java, Python, Ruby, and our CLI for Mac, Windows, and Linux. My work has spanned front end development to operating systems, delivering developer experiences in C/C++, and technology leadership as a member of Azure Staff, serving as a Technical Advisor to the Azure CVP and CTO.As a development manager, my teams shipped open source projects like the Silverlight Toolkit, and as an individual contributor, I built key user experience controls like the progress bars for Windows, Pivot control for Windows Phone, a C++ XAML parser dev, and the Silverlight Unit Test Framework.I graduated from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, with a Computer Science degree.
