About Jeff Pauls

I\'ve spent 14 years building trading software and data products across global energy and financial markets, spending time in the US, UK and Hong Kong, and I\'ve loved the challenge that it has brought. With that said, I\'ve always wanted to build products that I would use myself, products where I can fully put myself in the user\'s shoes and empathize with them.That\'s the direction I\'m heading. After recently completing a Master\'s in Computer Science at Johns Hopkins, focused on Data Science and Cloud Computing, I\'m looking to combine deep product leadership experience with an increasingly technical foundation to pursue roles at the intersection of technology and products that genuinely matter to people. AI is an area I\'m actively exploring, from leveraging models to accelerate my own productivity and research, to building working prototypes. It\'s a space I\'m genuinely excited to go deeper in.What I bring: the ability to bridge engineering and business in a way many PMs can\'t. I\'m technically literate enough to have real conversations with engineers, commercially sharp enough to build a business case for the C-suite, and experienced enough to have shipped products used by tens of thousands of users daily across some of the world\'s most demanding trading environments.If you\'re building something ambitious in AI, data products, or useful consumer tech, I\'d love to hear about it!

   Overseeing product development and user growth outside of core European power and gas markets. My team is responsible for expansion in the Climate Markets, North American Markets, and the Japanese Power Market, as well as the development of new technology to support traders, brokers and exchanges. We are increasing our footprint across these markets through innovative tools that leverage modern web and mobile technologies as well as AI. We spend our time meeting with prospective clients in new areas where we look to design new solutions in an agile manner.
