Hi, I dig data! I’m a Principal Business Intelligence Engineer with over 10 years of experience turning complex data into clear, actionable insights. From improving multi-billion-dollar products to leading product strategy and operations, I love making data work harder to solve real-world problems. My journey has taken me from the lab and into the cloud. As a biologist, I cataloged DNA mutations to help create a new variety of mandarin orange, conducted experiments to improve the mouthfeel of wine, and partnered with professors to design microbiology experiments to test antibiotic resistance. When I transitioned to data engineering over a decade ago, I started by tackling ad hoc reporting challenges—delivering insights that helped leaders make informed decisions. Over time, I honed my expertise in analytics and data platforms, progressing from generating reports to designing scalable solutions that support multi-billion-dollar portfolios. Today, I’ve grown into a leadership role where I create and lead a Product Strategy & Operations discipline for an organization with over 30 Product Managers and Business Development Managers. I uplevel roadmaps, refine pricing strategies, and guide a cross-functional team of engineers, analysts, and business developers to deliver telemetry-driven insights and scalable operations. Together, we’ve built data solutions that scale globally, accelerate product innovation, and enable faster, smarter decisions for the world’s largest cloud provider. At the heart of everything I do is a love for curiosity, experimentation, and working with great people. I’m driven by the excitement of learning and exploring new ideas—whether in a lab or behind a screen—and thrive on tackling tough challenges with smart, creative minds. It’s this passion for collaboration and continuous discovery that has shaped my career from science to tech, turning data into valuable solutions along the way.
