ABOUT JEFFREY REICHART

Currently I am the director of safety and security and completed the school resource officer certification where my responsibilities include, but not limited to, overseeing a staff of school police and security officers, training teachers and students in safe school practices, leading the school’s safety committee, threat assessment teams, acting as the liaison to law enforcement, and keeping the school in compliance with all Pennsylvania safe school mandates including conducting safety and emergency drills, such as active intruder preparedness, and maintaining and updating emergency operations and all hazard plans, and identifying threat and vulnerability issues through site assessments. Retired law enforcement professional from the City of Reading police department where I served as a patrol officer, evidence technician, field training officer, acting desk sergeant and retired at the rank of detective where I was responsible for gathering intelligence on the most violent criminal organizations and individuals and investigating complex cases including capital murder. I have extensive experience in leading investigations involving multiple agencies at the local, state and federal levels. After retirement, I used my skills in the private investigations profession serving the needs of individuals, attorneys, corporations, small businesses, insurance companies and schools. I practiced in the areas of criminal defense, civil litigation support and surveillance in cases such as worker’s compensation fraud and school residency verification and workplace investigations. I am approved by, and have conducted federal defense investigations, in the United Stated Eastern and Middle District.
